The refurbishment on the Hollybush in Loughton was completed simultaeneously with another of McMullen's popular pubs, the Bull in Broxbourne.

 

The interior was re-modelled, with major changes to the bar areas, the elevated section and the addition of an internal glass lobby area to the front entrance. 

​

In addition to complete internal and external decoration, the exterior Riverside Terrace area has been greatly improved with new decking and a resin bound gravel section. A new glass canopy was also added to provide shelter from the elements.   With smart new seating, these alterations have transformed the street aspect of the premises to attract new customers.
